    hello guys!
i have 55gal reef running for two months! all parameters are checked weekly and there all good!

and i recently added some "cured live rock" from my local pet store...
    ammonia is 0.5
    nitrite 0.1
    nitrate 10ppm

is it true that it doesnt matter whether there cured or not...the rock will still have to cycle in my tank???
what do i do? 20% water change???

If you have ammonia, it is not all the way cured--You should cure it in a can with a power head and heater before you put it in and make sure there is no ammonia or nitrite

Cured in which tank? ;) Yes it is true. You can buy all the cured rock you want, but it will still have die off and need to be cycled while in your tank.
Doing a water change at this point will not help. Tank is cycling again. You just need to sit and ride it out, as the balance of everything catches back up to itself.

its been 2 days and the ammonia is still the same at 0.5? would it go any higher?
is it lethal to the corals and fishes are this moment?
so far the fishes are eating and corals are looking healthy?
should i be worried for tommorow or the next day???

wether you should or not, lets face it, your going to anyways. sorry about your troubles but letting your tank balance itself is your only option. Fight the urge to interfere.
