    Hi, my problem is this

I have cloudy water. My parameters are all ok, actually they are technically perfect. So why is the water still cloudy??

    Ammonia 0
    nitrates 0
    PH. 8.4
    copper 0

I think the problem began by me adding LR, but i thought LR's are supposed to help on the filtration, thus making water even better. I had no LR before.

what can be some causes of cloudy water and how can i fix it. I already did a 40%water change. and a 10% after a 5 days. No change at all. water still cloudy.

    any suggestions?

What comes to mind is a bacterial bloom or an algae bloom. However, nobody can know until we know how old your tank is, what size it is, what's in it, any other information?

ok.. this tank is 29g. it has 14pounds of LR. (new)

two false percula clowns, one small yellow tang, a cleaner shrimp and i recently got a goby.(all pretty healthy)
I know im overstocked, but thats not the source of the problem, otherwise i would of had this problem a long time ago and it started like a week ago.

My cycling was actually done with my yellow tang and one clown ( not the best choice but it worked well). and ive been running the tank for about 5 months maybe more. NOT counting cycling, which was about a month and a half.

i did thought about bacterial bloom since i added the LR recently, but idk what to do if it is.. can you explain to me how does a bacterial bloom happen and how can it be fixed?

If you just added the LR you've just restarted your cycle.
Your tank is also pretty young, so its possible its an algae/bacteria bloom.
Could also be from the LR being dirty and just needs to settle.
How often do you do water changes?
    Do you dose with anything?
    How often do you feed?
Do you have a skimmer, HOB filter, canister filter, sump, etc?
The more info you give us, the better we can help.

IMO the yellow tang has to go ASAP. No matter what size, a tang cannot live in that sized tank. I still don't quite have a grip on what exactly is going on in there.

ok.. i do water changes once a month. More often if i see it necessary.
Sometimes i use Prime if i get any kind of ammonia rise or nitrates.
I feed once a day. a little less than half a square from emerald.
and twice a week i feed Nori to my tang with a veggie clip. (sometimes he eats off my hand... so do the clowns)
i dont have a skimmer, I have a hang in filter(tetra) with carbon in the filter.
i have a water pump (the ones you put inside the tank so that the water has good circulation)
what else... ive used buffer before..( to adjust PH) only once though and a long time ago.

IMO you should probably invest in a good skimmer and a better filter, trash that old tetra filter.
You've got quite the over load there in your little tank. Over stocking doesn't necessarily mean the effects will show up right away,it can happen at any given moment, especially when trying to add new LR to a tank.
Are you able to get any pictures for us?
