    Hi my name is Shreyas,
I have had a salt water tank before running on a canister filter but i tore it down because of nitrate problems. But this time i am planing on a FOWLER then upgrading to a reef. I'm going to have a DSB, an over sized Skimmer, With a sump-refugium, Macro algae. Please comment on my plan so i can make it better. Also where can I show my sump plans to get it reviewed, on this site.

    Thanks in advance

Your totally on the right track. Especially by going with a refugium/sump. Good luck and welcome to 3Reef! :)

    Welcome.
Sounds like you're heading in the right direction!

Under the Aquarium filtration and hardware section there are sump / refugium areas.

There are also calculators (somewhere here) that will tell you how many pounds of sand you'll need for a DSB, you'll need alot.
I'd imagine you'll want something in the 70+ pounds for dry or life rock as well.

Good luck, planning and building is half the fun!
