I would have never guessed that there was so many people in Kansas that did reef. I am in Wichita and have a 210g. Welcome to the site.

We didn't realize so many folks in Kansas did reefs either! Great to hear many are from Wichita right by us too.

LVsuckerfish - Thanks for the suggestion on the Vertex line of skimmers. We hadn't heard of them before and after looking into them we think that might be what we purchase now for the 200 gallon. We haven't found one negative comment on them yet. Does anyone here currently use one and if so are you happy with it?

Nightstick - We will have some more pictures coming soon! Last night we went into our LFS and they had a 29 gallon Oceanic Biocube on sale that was calling our name! We have seen some mixed reviews about this specific tank on 3 Reef but I think we can make a few changes with the sump part and lighting down the road to make it a great little reef. We didn't purchae the flimsy stand that goes with it so we will be building a stand for it ourselves. You just can't have too many fish tanks! ;D
