Growth on snail shell

    Just wondering if I could get some help with an ID. No pictures because the thigns are to tiny to capture without a good macro shot camera. On the back of a FL Cerith there are what look like fanworms only they stick straight out and the small bristle like things never go in just permanently out it seems. They are white/clearish and there are a millio nof them on the one shell

    after looking at some pictures I do not think thats it, there is a small thin white stem thats maybe 1/4-1/2inch long with a bunch of suepr thin white/clear things sticking out the top that dont move. They line the entire cerith shell in rows.

    Could be barnacles. I have them on my snails.

    No I have barnacles on my nerites and these are def different.
