Growing in Skimmer

    Not pixture but maybe someone can help. In my HOB skimmer where there is minimal light 24/7 I see what looks like whtie roots growing on the plastic walls. Im assuming tis some type of sponge growth but am not sure.

    SOrry for lack of a pciture but jsut picture whtie roots coming out of the bottom of a potted plant and paste them to the walls of the skimmer.

    Just likes the flow and low lighting, filtering out detritus and DOC.
