Well heres a pic of him. Hes about 7.5 inches long and has great personality. I'm really going to miss him, we rescued him from certain death, he recovered in our tank, outgrew it, and now is on his way to certain happiness. I will definitely keep you all updated and will definitely spend a whole day next to his tank in the aquarium waiting to catch a glimpse of him with the hundreds of other fish in that tank. I was telling my girlfriend that his QT tank will probably be 5 times bigger then the one hes in now. She was a little worried about him in quarantine.

This Sunday morning, right when the aquarium opens. I'm going to probably fill a large size cooler up with tank water, run a pump with an airstone in it and book it down there. Hopefully will get to see his new QT tank and then in a couple of months see him in the aquarium.

Yeah that would be awesome!!! I get two free tickets to go visit him in a couple of months and a letter from the Aquarium that I donated, mainly for tax purposes I guess.

It's really cool when you do this, I had a Mexican Red Legged Turantula a few years ago that got too big to handle. I donated it to the Metro Toronto Zoo's breading program. They gave us a tour of the whole insect area behind the scenes. It was a great experience and a great feeling to be able to help out.
I hope the aquarium appreciates what you are doing too!!

Great story and good for you. I have a Vlamingi that is now out growing my 120 time to call the Atlanta Aquarium. I have been trying to find it a new home but no one has a tank big enough and I refuse to bring him bag to the LFS. Great Idea.
