Well, I am new to this hobby and have been purchasing some things the last few weeks. I am really excited about this! I figured I would post a couple pics of what I have so far. Just tonight I installed my RODI setup under the sink. My TDS meter shows my tap water at about 325 ppm and after the RODI it comes out at a cool 0 PPM. I have an HOB fuge on order along with a Berlin skimmer. The tank is a 46 gal bowfront...shown in the pics is whats lef of it after being a turtle habitat. I bought it new and never put any chemicals in it so it should be fine after a good cleaning. I have a current sundial light on it. Well, thanks for looking and oh yeah this place has been great reading!

I can't wait to get some live rock in there and start cycling it. I'm in the process of purchasing everything and then I have to clean up my tank and get started. I have left the water in there from before in the meantime because its crystal clear and is still being filtered my my fluval 304 so I figured that looks better in my house than an empty tank. So anyway I am taking a ride down to my LFS today to do a little drooling and maybe get a thing or two.

Welcome to 3reef my fellow reefer, looks like a good start. One thing thou, the DI sections should set up vertically and not horizontally. That will effect the efficiency of the DI stages. Good luck with your set up and dont forget to post the pics as you go along.;D
