Thanks. It is getting a bit crowded in there. Think the xenia needs to go. I want to make room for a blue ricordea and a torch coral.

Here is a closeup of my yellow polyps. They were surprisingly difficult to get in focus. I wasn't that blown away by them at first, but they enjoy being fed and are easy to keep so I am liking them more and more.

Here is a pic of my zoas. They started as 11 heads a couple of weeks (ed. weeks should read months) ago. Count as of today is thirty-one.

So, I pruned the xenia today. Any ideas as to whether or not it will survive?

Sorry, no steroids. That should read "couple of months." I'm off to fire my editor now. Bought them on 15 Feb 09 and counted 31 on 19 April 09. 48 are on there as of this morning 31 May 2009. The rock they are on is getting very crowded so I may need to look into fragging them soon.

AWESOME TANK..!!! I to have the same tank.. have a reto fitted phos reactor... But have you had any problems with your cooling fans..?? Mine took a turd on me and luckily was under warranty and put 2 new fans in and had to do some vent mods to remove heat...

As far as your Xenia they should bounce back.. I trimmed my kenya tree and it looked like poo for about 3 days and came back full forse...

    Good Luck...!!

I haven't had any problems with my fans giving out, but cooling has certainly been an issue. Cooling was a major factor in the decision to switch over to maxijets. What fans did you switch to? What kind of vent mods? How well does it work?
