frustrated :(

So.. after all my threads on my corals bein crappy. I come home and my cardinal fish was dead... Everytime I try to add a new fish it just ends up dying. and I don't know why.. All my prams are fine except my phosphates are high which im working on

 

Run a battery of tests now and post the results. List all your equipment as well. We can figure it out.

 

P.s I just added him on saturday.. all my other fish are fine and eat well and everything..

9 times out of 10 its water quality..post them and the fam will get to work analyzing

also make sure your temp is staying consistent..its normal to move a few degrees, i like mine to fluctuate to an extent of safety..

 

My temperature fluctuates a grand total of half a degree; no reason to let it fluctuate any more than necessary.

My temp is around...80.. the water feels really warm :/ I have a heater in the tank my room is really really cold.

 

I feed about three times a week, I have a bio cube protein skimmer, Im currently running carbon, Im thinking I should do a water change tonight.

 

Do all the fish come from the same lfs? How are you acclimating them?

 

I get my fish from two different stores. and I acclimated this dude for a while. I floated him for about an hour. then mixed some of my water with the water from the LFS he was in and let him sit for another.. 45 or so... then added him into the tank
