I was so glad to have mine. It's in my avatar

Mine eats the New Life Spectrum Pellets, and some frozen. And picks at a little algae here and there.

Never seen him touch any of my 60 different corals though. They are all a bit different though. Apparently, the dwarfs are less of coral eaters than the bigger angels

I hope not also, but I have no clue what else would have taken a bite out of it, I haven't caught it in the act and it appears it hasn't been touched again as of yet.

If I do catch her my next post will be for advice how to get her out of there :D

I have a juvenile emporer angel just changing colour to adulthood, would a flames angel be compatable with him ?
My DT is 350 gallons, I also have 3 tangs (yellow, chocolate and regal) and 2 clowns.

From what I've read and my experience keeping a bicolor and a cherub angel I do not see an issue with it. They should be just fine.

Please do yourself a favor when buying one and make sure that it is eating prepared foods. If at all possible, leave it at the LFS for a week or two, go back and confirm it is still eating. These guys can be tough to get eating prepared foods.

I have a mate who works in one of the local fish stores, I usually buy my fish through him (staff discount etc) they usually write "I am not for sale" on the tanks for a week and then take the fish home.

    Good advice though, thank you.

He is eating Mysis Shrimp, but I guess it may not be enough, when lights go on the tank I have to take another look at my Coral, it don't look good for the angel, he may have ate a lot more of that Coral than I realized.

I got my flame angel from a guy that was selling him because he was nipping his sps. He is in my 180g fowlr, but I thought about starting a small reef and see how he does. I feed him well and he has gotten fat. I'm thinking he was not fed enough before as he eats like a pig for me and that may have been the reason that he was nipping corals. I feed mine spirulina flakes, pellets, mysis and frozen dwarf angel formula.
