Hello, not sure how to find your other post. Sounds like you have an algea bloom (well, more than sounds - you do). Cutting back lighting and doing water changes is a start. What is the tank history and water tests?

Sounds like your very new tank is way too new for an Anthias (just MHO, not sure how old your tank is). More information would help, when referencing another post, please include the link to the post so those of us who don't remember and are old and tired can find it.

The post is in the ASAP Forum it is Titled Alge bloom. We have had the Anthias since the begining and there has never been a problem until now with the alge bloom.

I agree with Ginny - I am too old to go looking for other posts. But in this case I found it. This is a 3 month old 29 gallon tank - kinda small for Anthia's tho.

We need the tank's data to trouble shoot, go over to top of the ASAP (this section) and fill out the questionair best you can - it will help a lot.

I see you posted that last post as I was typing this one. :)

We have been doing water changes and that has not seemed to help. We have done several water changes with no change. Is there something that we can put in the water to kill the bloom before it kills off the rest of out fish.

Between this post and your other one, it's all been said already. The more you change your water with tap, the more you're feeding your bloom.

Read over the posts in response to this and your other post. The answers have been given to you.

    Good luck! :)
