Well, even though i have a slight algea problem i bought some corals, here are some pics, should i leave the torch at the bottom of the tank? does anyone know what kind of mushrooms i got? all it said was assorted mushrooms. also will the button polyps spread to the rock if i just put it against it? I have one little stalk of xenia will it divide and spread? its on the shell on the pic so i dont know if i should just cut the shell up with bone cutters and glue it somewhere else?

    Looks cool.

I had my Torch Coral on a rock and it looked happy, but fell off several times. Now I planted the base in the sand for stability and it is happy as ever.

I bought one tiny stalk of Xenia and now like two months later it split into four stalks. Pretty cool to see.

I read up on it a bit. I would use something like a dremel with a diamond bit cutter. You want a clean cut on the skeleton with no cracks or chips. Some people have used sheers, but I would not. Not a very clean way of doing it.
