I have about 14-18 lbs of live rock right now that i got from the LFS and it was in one of their tanks for 2yrs. on the rock we have alot of coraline algae and some little brownish palm tree looking things growing i think its a type of polyup. A few yellow sponges and something with some purple squigily things lol... oh i also have a mushroom coral thhat detaches its self and moves alot. we haven't bought anything like coral to put in there yet. We do have a fish- the tomato clown doing really good and has been in there for five days.

Im not sure what to feed or how often- this is what I have been doing, Taking water from the tank, cutting off a piece of frozen brine shrimp dropping it in the water and adding a cap of marined snow to the water i mix it up and dump it into the tank, i turn off the skimmer and filter and power head for 1 hr after feeding (according to marine snow bottle) I do this about two times a day....

Am I feeding right for what I have so far? Should I be adding iodine. I read brine is what the clowns like but then i see people favor mysis...any guidance and information is appriciated.

the feeding schedule is alright. marine snow is probably not needed IMO...
since you only have one fish, once a day or even less is fine. the fish are really adaptable and can live for up to 3 weeks without being fed.

Also, that brownish palm tree might be aptasia, post a pic if you can for an id. if its aptasia you will wanna get rid of it

I also have this really light grey/purplish bulb thing growing, someone said it could be a type of sponge? not the coraline algae but right above it.
