My cleaner shrimp went missing about a week ago and i assumed the worse. To my surprise I just saw him a few mins ago, the lights were off and his whiskers were about half the length they were before he went missing. I'm guessing he molted but usually when he molts hes done and back to normal in like 2 days, could he have had any extra stressful molt? Couldn't get his old shell of or something? I dropped some pellets in and he grabbed them and ate so that’s good.

Just wanta know if i should be worried.

I wouldnt worry they will hide for up to a week sometimes to let their new shell harden because they are vunderable until then. Proper iodine levels help make molting easier I think adding iodine reduces the chance of a "stressful molt" but I'm sure he's fine.

He'll be fine. We had a couple cleaners live for a few years. They disappeared every now and then, at first we worried but it became pretty routine.
Also, it's a good thing when anything eats.

    Good luck.
