Ecotech Vortech

I just finished setting up my new 90... setup my vortech, which was very noisey at first. Then after 24 hours it went MUCH quieter. I got to play around with the wave making and all that cool stuff. Then BANG I get home from work and the thing had fused togther comepletely. the wet side had melted to the plastic backing.... needless to say I was pissed!

I contacted the people at ecotech last night and got an email back first thing this morning. so far their service is very fast.

You would figure that when you pay that much to the thing it wouldn't break that quick...i guess there are lemons in everything.:-/ needless to say i was very frustrated!

 

darn dude don't scare me like that. I just got one and I noticed the engine is hot.

 

hahahaha.... no worries! the dry side is supposed to get fairly warm. I dont know what the running temp is but mine was probably 80 something? maybe.. The wet side on mine melted.

 

Eco-tech marine does have its fair share of problems with their pumps. But with their customer service and an awesome pump, I think that makes the small possible problems totally worth it.

 

They aboslutely have amazing customer service! The guy I was dealing with Steve, soooo fast with the help... i sent him pics told him my problem and BAM with in a day of contacting them they are sending out new parts!
