That is what I thought as well. I'll just save up for an Aqua-C or something.

Waste of money. It looks like a piece of junk. The column should be white with micro bubbles. It looks like some kids toy with an airstone inside it.

I just want to make a note that they are running it on a freshwater set-up. hence the 2 foot gar in the tank. therefor the bubbles won't look right if they had the best skimmer running on it.
reminds me of a seaclone. i'd get an aquac

Well I'm going to sound like the idiot here lol. But I actually bought this skimmer for my 20 gallon tank off of ebay. I know, I know...don't skimp on the skimmer...but my skimmer got a big crack in it, I had no money for anything decent so I had to buy something temporarily. I thought I would only use it for a couple weeks until I got something else...
To my surprise it works great. I've had it running for several months now and it pulls some decent gunk out. The picture in the ad is terrible. It actually produces are very thick, white colum of bubbles. I'm not sure I would recommend it, but in my case it seems to be working just fine.

Well that is actually kinda shocking and I wondered if I would get a hit from someone using it. I think I am still going to save up for an AquaC. Anyone else have one of these?
