So I purchased a second Vortech Mp40w for my 180... but am curious as to how to set it up... Haven't yet had 2 powerful PH's in one tank. Should they be opposite each other from end to end on the same axis? Opposite / off axis? 90º opposed? One higher, one lower? ... anyone who has 2 Vortechs (or other similar constantly-variable-speed wavemaker PH's on a controller) please chime in one what you've discovered.

    Thanks!

I run mine on opposite ends, seems to work the best.

If you look at the vids on youtube, you'll see that most have them directly opposite of each other. I think if they were normal PH's you'd want to have them at different angles. Since they have programs that vary their flow, placement isn't that much of an issue.

+1 on running them on opposite ends. Works on my 150.
