Divers Den Experience?

Hello 3reef community,

I have been debating about whether or not to order a Rose Bubble tip anemone from Divers Den for the last couple of weeks (due to the fact that my LFS rarely has them in and when they do they always look like crap and are way overpriced for their size).

I would like to know if anyone has ordered an anemone from Divers Den/Liveaquaria, and if so what the result was. Do they ship well? Please help me out. Thanks,

Liveaquaria is one of the most reputable places online to buy Corals/inverts if your going to order online this is a good choice.

Diver's Den is the best place to order from that I'm aware of, I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from them. They put a lot of care into selecting/quarantining and taking care of the animals and have the best shipping/packing procedures that I've seen. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you follow their procedures. I've heard nothing but good things about their customer service as well.

 

Diver's Den, as others have said, is one of, if not the, most reputable online livestock sources.

 

Divers den is a great place to buy from. DFS is a very good company to buy from, and have excellent customer service and make sure that your purchasing experience goes as well as possible.

I am not as close at home as redgambit is, but they are only a half hour away from my cottage

 

err... I only tried to deal with them once, but results turned to be not so good... I ordered two montiporas from Marine-cultured section... Then next day I got a phone saying one of the monti is damaged and cannot ship... When I got the other montipora the other day, the color is way off the picture and it dies the next day. I think their marine cultured section must be wrong since most of them are on sale. And I think the package is too loose, the heat pack did not really play its role since the water is like ice cold...
They did do the right thing and refund all my money. But this is my experience, I ordered two montiporas and got nothing...

 

better than getting a smashed up monti. Color is a thing you gotta take with a grain of salt anyway. No two systems are going to be identical and shipping stresses corals out which alters their colors. Im told it can take weeks for some sps to color back up after shipping, and thats if you have a great stable system with low nutrients to get back in. I would HOPE a vendor called m to tell me a coral is broken up, alot of people in the internet buisness would blame it on the shipper and say 'well now you got a lot of cool frags!' lol
