Before my diamond goby decieded to commit suicide he was a chicken and whould hide if any other fish approached him. So from my experiance he most likely did not kill your other fish.

I leave dead snails in the tank so that the crabs can eat it and later jump in a bigger shell. But if you Parameters are high ie.. Ammonia or nitrite you will want to get it out

One of my red legs just moved into a bigger shell, so, that's a good sign, he's happy....... Thanks for the tips on the crabs. I figured they'd like a 'snack'. :)

My goby is really liking his tank, he's out all the time, comes to every feeding, and doesn't hid if I'm near the tank. He's always sifting, and rarely is hiding. The exception is, he'll run away if I'm in the tank, but then, so do the others. And my 2 year old granddaughter loves him. She looks for him first, instead of 'nemo'.... LOL!

mine just jumped into the back of my bc and have no way of getting him out(I tried for over an hour). Hopfully he will swim into the return chamber so I can grab him. Thing is there is a plastic grate covering the back so how he did it is a mystery:confused:

I had a fish that would jump into the back of my bc ALL the time. I tried to get him, but I never could. Then several days later, however he got in he would get out again and would be in my display! So you might just leave him alone and see if he comes out on his own.

I just bought a bicolor blenny for my new tank a couple weeks ago. I did not see him for a couple days, but this guy was small. I was working on the sump and there he was swimming happily in the sump! I guess he either jumped into the overfow or got sucked into it as I think he is small enough.

The funny thing is, is I could just imagine him going for a ride in the tubes leading to my sump. I ahve a double overflow so I picture him going on a little waterslide ride. I hope he does not jump again, it was not easy getting him out!

    very nice fish

I had one it will eat anything, it ate red seaweed, mysis, plankton, shrimp sticks/pellets.

Be very careful cuz it they are jumpers. I bought a new filter and was running it in the front of the tank till the bacteria colony built up before removing old filter. There was a 1 inch vertical gap due to tubes/hoses and it made it through.

In the summer the opening was slightly smaller maybe 1/2 to 3/4 to vent the heat and there was no problem. Been running the new filter about 2 weeks and all of a sudden. It only swam near the top at feeding time. but all in all it is a nice fish easy to take care of.

It hunts by sight cuz i would bury food and the shrimps would get it before it did it was as if it didn't see it it woldn't know it was there. But if it did see the food it would go after it.

I have had mine since the start-he was one of my first fish. He eats a little of the frozen. But I add some sinking pellets while the others are eating frozen. most of the pellets go into the reef where he finds them. He has grown alot and is healthy as can be. I have never target fed. Make sure your rocks are all the way down to the bottom, as he can cause an avalanche.

ill bury a little chunk of mysis shrimp right outside of his den and hell come right out and dig for it. my eats everything though. flakes, pellets, brine, mysis. when i feed the fish nori, i attach it to the clip and let the clip sink to the bottom cause i have the best luck for my fish to eat it that way. he will even eat the nori.
