How large is your cleanup crew? How large is your tank.

A properly stocked tank with a good cuc is able to deal with most deaths... well they handle 'em better than we do anyway.

You will want to monitor your params during this event, but stuff dies in the ocean all the time.

As always fill out the ASAP form in my sig, and thanks for flying 3reef.

as trelane said, your other crabs and snails will clean up your horseshoe. one dead crab shouldnt cause any significant harm in regardws to an ammonia spike.

Horseshoe crab skeletons also look cool, and are made out of calcium. Over time it will erode away (and feed the coral!)
