I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade on My PC. But I'm not sure what I want. Usually I research the MB and all that jazz. I've lost all the links to web sites to get good computer info, Anyone know of a web site that will help in my upgrade decisions.
I usually go for the latest and greatest gear. I just want to know what that is right now.

    Thanks
    Jason

Tiger Direct isn't the worst place in the world but I wouldn't be willing to buy anything there myself. One friend of mine buys from them but too many people have problems with them for my taste and when it comes to computer equipment there is no shortage of people and sites out there that will rip you off. I personally buy my hardware that i get online from newegg.com and zipzoomfly.com(previously googlegear) Can't beat reseller ratings like this Newegg Zipzoomfly and my modding things from www.case-mod.com and www.svc.com

I am just as bad with spending money on my pc as i am with my tank..... no wonder i am always broke [smiley=idea2.gif] [smiley=hehe.gif]

I don't know too much about this sort of stuff,, he just gets the "barebones" stuff and build them himself and had gotten systems for like 10 dollars after rebates and stuff....glad of the info on that site tho....cause like I said, I don't have personal experience with that... I will pass along the caveats and other sites you mention to my boss as well!! THanks! :D

No problem, more selection of choices never hurts :) I have never bought there, I just always worry about being one of those people that buy the item that they don't honor the rebate on etc.... On anandtech.com's hot deal forums people will posts deals from them but as soon as people find out who it is most become uniterested. My buddy at work on the other hand has not had any problems with them.

Resller ratings can be entertaining to read. There are sites on there that have ratings near 1 that people still buy from cause they basically looked up the site/store after getting burned.
