I was wondering if anyone in here ever went in the other direction from the norm and set up a cold water reef? One of the most beautiful corals I ever seen just so happens to be in cold water and this guy is the Corynactis Californica, no idea how many animals you can get like this from cold waters.
Anyone knows of any nice animals that live in cold water?

Will it lives in temperate ocean waters, so I would guess around 55f, the animal I learned is very agressive and will kill anything it feels is competing it for food, good reason not to share a home with it.

Somebody here has a thread about the most awesome cold water tank I have ever seen. He's not a regular poster but maybe he will respond to a PM. Let me see if I can dig it up for you.

WOW! the pics in that first link are beautiful, the color in those animals are so pastel, I could handle that, just love it, didn't notice fish though. keeping a tank at 55-57f must be difficult. thanks for sharing that.
