I recently added a mated pair of percula clowns. I do not have an anemone and the smaller of the two clowns enjoys spending all night inside this mushroom. (the remainder of the time that my bluemoons are on if the smaller clown is not in the mushroom, they spend their time rolling around and making pits in my sand and doing courtship stuff. its really fun to watch).
what do you guys think of my clown rolling around in this mushroom? is that pretty normal??? i hope he doesnt put too much stress on the shroom.(even though they are pretty hardy)
thanks for you feedback. (im still pretty new to reefing)

It is pretty normal in a captive environment. There should be no problem as long as the mushroom seems OK.

i have a 55 gallon. i am running t5s and a canister filter. no room for a sump. my clowns have spawned already. there are little stringy things that hang from this rock that they dug underneath. they dont host with my frogspawn. it may be due to placement however. because my mushroom is on bottom, and my frogspawn in the middle.
