clown vs. fire (fish)

    just wondering what you guys think for my 8 gal. btw there is a small mantis in there, wont get bigger then 3" and is already trained.

    how big is the tank? if its 10 gallons or less i would do a firefish

    8, and ive had 2 clowns in there before, im not worried about waste. IMO a clown in a established tank tends to stay with in 6" of its favorite spot. so space isnt really a problem either. i just have no idea about firefish as in care.

    its eight gallons? thats a little small for two clowns let alone one. well we all have done it i have as well. i just would advise against it but your gonna do what you will

    im just worried about the curriosity of clowns, i dont want one to go investigate my mantis' cave, and WHAM, but i do want some openwater liveliness, ei. fish. firefish struck me as the most calm nano fish. so im just asking. i will admit, i added them two soon, i should have waited more then 2 months. and they were small 1" clowns so when i only had one he seemed lost. felt bad for him. LOL
