My black and white clowns seems to sleep and float on top of the water at night, the remain close and cuddly. In the morning they are bright and chripy! Anyone know why they do this???

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Mine have been doing the same thing for almost 3 years. Sometimes I can hear them hit the lid at night.

The tanks return fitting is their host.

What type of clowns are they and are they wild or captive breed?

LOL, exactly what mine to, I have had others do the same, or sleep behind a heater, in the sand.

Mine are also B/W, so maybe they just like the top, who knows.

The first time I saw them I feared the worst. They really do live up to their name!
