    Not all maroons are mean. I have 2 maroons that accept all new additions in their tank and don't bother anything. My female is about 7" long, and should be as mean as they come, but is as docile as any shy fish. She doesn't let the damsel near her anemone, but that's about it.
    But getting the clowns to host the anemone, there really isn't anything we can do to entice that. Either it will happen, or it won't. Nature will do what it will.

    I've also read that the fish uses the anemone to kill its food for it. Many schools for thoughts going around on this subject it seems.

    If your worried about the anenome... feed him...
    I feed my anenome silver fish...2 X per week...
    It is big enough that the clowns cant steal it from the anenome....

    I heard they use them for protection from predators and feed them in return....
