    Living in NW suburbs of chicago, looking to see if any recomendations for local fish stores, looking to pick up some corals, seeing if Ive missed any good places to go to.

    been to beyond the reef, exotic aquatics, midwest coral farm, sea schor, sho-tanks, aquarium adventure, some place in park ridge,

    advanced aquatics on roselle rd in schaumburg... south of aquarium adventure.

    you pretty much nailed them all.

    another is aquatica in tinley park. i have yet to go there.

    The manager/owner of Aquatica is an ******* IMO and others.
    Go with Beyond the Reef as they seem to have the healthiest looking corals/fish and good customer service.

    I had a good experience at Aquatica. Got my sixline wrasse there and he is as happy and healthy as can be. I would avoid Aquarium Adventure like a case of Space Herpes, unless you enjoy crappy customer service, overpriced everything, and fake sales.

    Yah when I first started my saltwater experiences I had a 55g and told aquarium adventure that I would Like to eventually get into corals and seem like I was sold all the wrong stuff, canister filter, tank wasn't right for corals, lighting, so it was a good starter tank but ended up replacing everything when I upgraded,
