Looks like you have everything! I think that the heat controller is worth it. IME they tend to keep the temperature much more stable than the controller that is built into the heater alone. Be sure to get a good thermometer just to be sure.

Certain good to get started. I think your next purchase will be a controller though. Aquacontroller Junior with pH, Temp and DC8 or something like that.

    Great start.

Unless I missed it, but you dont list the actual tank. many of the items are irrelative without the big box of water.

If you want completely functional, AC Jr is hard to beat for the price. If you want everything, Apex is well thought of.

A controller effectively replaces all the timers and such that you will want.

The other thing is that if you are going to be keeping corals, you'll want a automated two-part dosing system for Ca/Alk/Mg (really three parts)... or a Ca Reactor. I went with the dosing system. Also look into Automatic Top Off systems.

I was thinking the same thing . . .but I'm sure they have the tank accounted for . . its like listing "water" or "electricity" or "atmospheric air" lol

BTW -- You don't HAVE to have a controller, ATO or dosing. Many folks don't. But you should look into it at least and decide.
