So my question is this, how often do Coral banded shrimp molt? Is there a "normal" molting cycle for them? I cant seem to find any info on-line for it. Mine has been in my tank for about 2 months and has molted twice already! He is HUGE now!

Once a month is normal for shrimps/crabs. They typically do it around full moon.

agreed - you can usually tell they are about to molt in a few days when they start to look "dirty" - you might even catch a glimpse of them reaching in-between their new and old exoskeleton to clean themselves!!! Kinda odd - it's like you reaching in and scratching that itchy liver!!! hahahah
