Canon Rebel XS images

    Wasn't sure where to post this.. hope this is ok
    I finally got done reading a bunch about proper camera settings for tank photos. I setup my camera (canon rebel xs dslr with efs 55mm lens) to shoot in the Raw at ISO 400. I set a custom white balance and started shooting. I will need to get a tripod to get a lot clearer pictures. But it did help with some post processing to really bring out the colors just like they look in my tank. I was very happy! Any suggestions would be great, i know i gotta work on the focusing ;)

    Thanks a lot guys! Ill get some clearer ones once i get the tripod setup. For pics #3 is pastel chalice on left and purple urkle chalice on right, and #6 bubblegum monster on left and oregon mummy eye on right

    yep what they call chalices (enchinophyllias, oxypora, enchinopora families)

    Looks great!! I'm jealous of your chalices, they're beautiful! I also have a rebel an enjoy shooting with an iso of 1600 on AV (No set apiture value, since I have to change it depending on the lighting). I think it kind of has a cool effect.
