Can anyone with the same camera or very similiar tell me ethe exact settings I should be using when trying to take great macro shots of my corals. I am experimenting in the manual mode as the Auto mode I find is very limited.
    Thanks,
    Adam

I once read something on how to take better pics with our digital cams...

Here is what my camera is set at (it's a Sony though but yours should have same settings)

    1. color mode = rich (as opposed to normal, b&w, sephia, etc)
    2. focus = center AF (sometimes i change it to multi)
    3. metering mode = multi
    4. white balance = flourescent (sometimes I use cloudy depending on how it looks - also depends on your lighting)
    5. ISO = 100 (or less) (if taking pics of fish or moving things move iso up a bit to maybe 200 or 400)

A lot of it has to do with the white balance settings. Good luck! Also google around for good settings for taking pics of aquariums. Someone put a good link on this forum recently too.
