Can fungia recover?

    I just bought a fungia plate from receding, i got it from live aquaria and it is receding from diferent places. I just got it today, i will keep you guys up to date about the progress.

    Some of them can be a bit tough to acclimate it seems...but they certainly can recover...lower/indirect light will probably help IME...Fungia can actually sometimes appear completely dead but if you leave them alone in good conditions they will grow new babies from the "dead" skeleton.

    They are one of the most resilient LPS corals.

    Unless it's a Long Tentacle plate. Then it might be doomed.

    Its short tentacle and its on the sand bed under phoenix 14K 150 watts.
