So, I bought a group of Blue-Green Chromis today. 12 in total but, one died before I was able to let them out of the bag. Store I bought from has no guarantee on live stock so oh well I only paid $2.50 per chromis. Is it cruel, or morbid that I fed it to my Mini Maxi Carpet Anemone, or is it just a really good treat for the carpet?

In my opinion, since it died before you could even put it in the tank and it seems like it really wasn't your fault, it was a nice treat for the nem! It would have just been flushed anyway. At least this way a creature in your tank got an extra meal!

    +1 on above

it is sad when we lose things, but if something else can benefit from it, that makes it easier to get over
