    i have a bloated bersa trigger it doesnt swim around much. its in a tank with only a valintino puffer and live rock. he kind of floats around in the current and looks very very ill. can i save him?

    If you're sure that it's actually bloating, then you can place him in a QT dosed with anti bacterial meds and epsom salts.
    If you are not 100% sure that it's bloating, then skip the epsom salts and just use an antibacterial med.

    thanks for the speedy reply. what kind of anti bacterial meds. and how much epsoms salt? and hes defanately bloated.

    I'd use melafix and pimafix together it's a anti bacterial anf fungal meds from API. Epsom salts, I'd dose one tea spoon to every 10 gals.
    Follow the dosing instructions that comes with the melafix and pimafix.
    1 tsp/ 10 gals of epsom salts repeated every three days and on the seventh day, Do a 50% change and stop the use of epsom but continue using meds as needed.
    BTW during treatment, encourage him to eat by using garlic.

    It could be a sign of poor water quality.
