Bloat!!!

Sadly, I had to say good bye to my little buddy on Monday. He hadn't eaten in about a month and was becoming extremely skinny. I went to feed him by hand (which he never had a problem with before) and went into a puffing frenzy. he swam around the top of the tank continuing to take in water until he ripped the side of his belly. It was horrible, it left a 2" hole on the side of his body. He didn't make it and died by time I got home from work.
Since my lion and puffer both died, I am about to give up om my 150G tank, it's been nothing but heartbreak since its first crash years ago, it just seems cursed.

 

That's sad to here. Maybe you could think about keeping the tank w/e equipment you have and just take things out & get new sand & cycle the tank over again as if it was a new tank?
