One day I wana get a cube they look so clean. They pretty much come plug and play so everything is ready. If it comes with bio balls make sure to take them out, what ligthing did you get for it? and does it include the skimmer?

i have a Biocube 14 and a Biocube 29. I just got through the cycling process on the 29 gal and i am loving them. A lot of people end up upgrading the lighting which is good if you plan on having SPS corals? If you are thinking of having SPS corals maybe take out the bioballs because they can make your nitrates high and plan to make some kind of refugium. If you are just keeping LPS i would leave the bioballs in. They are just as good as any other biological media to get your tank rolling and as long as you are doing 10% to 15% waterchanges every week you should be fine. Plan on making your own media racks or getting some from In Tank LLC so you dont go broke replacing the stock filter cartridges every two weeks. Get a Koralia 2 or a couple smaller ones for added flow.
    Good Luck

I have had a 29 Biocube running for about 2 months now and love it. No issues. Here is what I have done:

    1) In chamber 1 break the floor between the top and bottom vent (I use this chamber for my heaters x2). The chamber floor is not deep enough for heaters unless you have really small ones. It is difficult to do this after water is in tank! I will also use this chamber for phosphate pads or ammonia pads (have not needed yet). I also use this chamber to pull water to my chiller.
    2) I purchased a SR3 skimmer that fits in chamber 2. This works very well and pulls a lot of gunk. You need to eliminate the bioballs and remove the flooring for the skimmer to fit.
    3) In my setup I use chamber 3 for my temp sensor and for the return from my chiller.

The only thing I wish the Biocube 29 had was some type of hinges for the hood (similiar to the Biocube 8 ). The tank itself seems to be perfect for a nano reef. I would add a Koralia Nano to keep water movement and add 30lbs+ of LR. I think you will be very happy with the Biocube! Good luck!
