big pod?

    is this a cocepod? it's got to around a1/4inch! I've never seen a pod get this big. It's in a filter line with a shell :oops: is why the pic looks so weird.

    That's huge!

    I'd bet on amohipods too

    Ahh, yes, it's a demon Amphipod. Overall, they're beneficial, but I don't like them. :angry:

    They used to mug my corals-especially the acans, but I had a population explosion of them. Normally they are fine. I still don't like them, though.

    That's a creepy looking mofo but it may be the answer to my question yet unasked because I moved a shell last night and something of considerable size scurried across the sandbed.

    The bigguns can get over 3/8" long.

    Well considering the pods I'm used to it was considerable :lol: I just knew it wasn't a snail or hermit but it was trucking pretty good across there and it was big enough to catch my eye.
