a couple months old i know but hey north how often do u have to refill that bucket??

 

That will vary with the size of the tank and amount of evaporation. I have a 75 gallon tank with a 50 gallon sump and 37 gallon sump with pretty much the same set up. I refill my bucket twice a week during the summer but now that the heat is on 3 times.

 

NORCAL GUY,
Question for you (or anyone that knows~!). Is that a special kind of bulkhead there you got to fit on the rounded bucket? If so where did you get it anyway? I think that is the best ATO I have ever seen - simple, elegant, failsafe - at worst you have a few extra gallons of water - not the entire water supply!!!

 

I was aware that the size of the tank will effect the results , I was just curious and now u have helped my curiosity lol
