I am using a JBJ with a maxi jet for a pump. Still new to the ATO thing but so far I like it.

 

Thank you for answering so many of my questions!! I was about to purchase a JBJ this week but will look at the others.

 

I think I will go with the Tunze just because I haven't had a problem with anything tunze and have heard good things about them, spectrapure does make good things but that 40$ difference was the dealbreaker for me.

 

For the Spectrapure, were you talking about the single tank liquid level control? I see it listed for $115.

 

The one that he linked was 240, the single tank liquid controller looks no better than the jbj imo

 

No, the Ultra Precise, UPLC-II. It uses a digital sensor to sense levels and can be adjusted anywhere from 1/10" to 4" at the touch of a button. You can also vary the pump rate in 10% steps so when set correctly it is impossible to flood a tank. It also has an additional safety back up float switch on top of that. Two buttons program everything in about 30 seconds and you are off and running.
