Not yet. People use the ph prob for reactors, kalk dosing, and 2 part.

i have been keeping an eye on this apex lite and it doesn't have any option for alkalinity nor calcium monitoring. it does monitor salinity so i am wondering if any other controller can monitor these parameters.
i am not sure but i think reefkeeper has alkalinity monitor? any reef controller expert wanna chime in?

I think the reef keeper has ph temp orp and salinity probes. I haven't seen a controller with the cal or alk probes... would be nice tho.

you are right both apex and reefkeeper only monitors ph and temp and salinity.
that was my mistake on the reefkeeper with alk monitor.

I have the Apex Lite. Paid $326 for a brand new model from TBAquatics (took advantage of the blackfriday sale: 11% off).

For a long time, Id looked into the Apex Jr model as well because of the lower initial cost, but I needed/wanted more than 4 outlet, a display, and the pH monitoring. It does come with the temp monitor, but thats about it. Ive calculated what I want and what I could do with the Jr, I saw the apparent advantage over Jr, so I went with Apex Lite and Im glad I did (even tho I got grounded by the boss because of the shopping spree).
Here is the comparison chart from the NeptuneSystems site between the models.

If you click the image above you'll jump to the NeptuneSystems' site.

I did look into ReefAngel also, but here are some reasons that I went with Apex Lite:
    -Sleeker display
    -Reliability
    -Warranty
As you see, however, there is not too much advantage between the two. RA has the module accessories for LED dimming control (0~10v and PWM), which released recently.

If you are trying to save as much as possible, and/or dont mind the open-source intimidation, go with the ReefAngel. Neptune Systems (Apex) is the leader in this industry: top notch everything (but top $ as well).
