It looks like everything I need. I will run cat 6 to my office and monitor the tank while I am in there and I am going to call and make sure the app for the droid is up and running and wireless we will be.

    haha. I think so.

I don't have a controller. But when I have my tank set up I plan to buy an Apex Jr. controller. I really like that you can control it from your computer. You can check your water parameters on the computer and change settings there as well...no more need to go over to the tank to change your settings on a clunky display module.

I love that you can access the controller via a phone as well. That with the wireless connection should make it a great thing to have when not at home.

I went with the Apex. The extra 4 plugs makes a huge difference.

Metalfan I understand but it cost a lot more. Still trying to put # together to see which is the better route. Buying the apex or piecing the jr.

You could always just buy a 4 outlet replay (the EB8 from Neptune Systems) for the Apex Jr. if you deicide you want more outlets later on.
