    WOW!!! Another BIG one....don't think it was a 7.8 like that last one. No water from my tanks spilled at all, though this one only jumped up & down, not back & forth like that last one. Cell & LAN lines are dead. I'm gonna go check on my Mom. :eek: :eek:

    ya i heard there was another one...cant wait till the big one comes to me near SF. How could i secure my tank to the wall to prepare for any earthquakes?

    You can get kits at Lowes & probably Home Depot for anchoring bookcases, shelves, appliances, etc.

    seems like there are more and more earthquakes in south cali. Im near SF and a little nervous of the "big one" that should be coming :(

    wow.....glad all is well.

    With that many earthquakes it would make you want to earthquake proof your tank somehow. Maybe switch to acrylic, reinforce the stand, secure things to the floor and walls, etc....
