I found a pretty good way to add sand! I found I needed about 20lbs more sand after Mr. Goby re-arranged the landscape! I stuck a 2 1/2 foot 1 1/2 inch pvc pipe down into the sand--cut the bottom off of a water bottle to use as a funnel and fed the sand down the pipe--when the pipe is full you just slowly lift the pipe and direct the sand where you want it. Most of the dust cloud stays in the pipe. The trick is to get the pipe out of the water without releasing the cloud. I still clouded the tank a little but cleared in about 3 hrs. Goby is happy and it worked pretty well--Just thought I would share.:)

    That is a great idea!

I just added about 10 pounds and filled up a big zip lock and cut a tiny hole and did it that way...

    Didn't cloud up a bit!
