So I posted befoore about my custum cuc from jon aka reefcleaners and I was wondering. Should I put all this in at once after acclimating? 10 dwarf ceriths 4 florida ceriths 3 nassarius 3 small nerites. Atm I have 1 peppermint shrimp 3 turbos 2 f percula clowns 1 green bta. I have 1" of sand 10 lb lr crappy skimmer that's bgoing to be replaced not producing alotof skimmates aquac30 powerhead heater aquac 50 hob and 24inch 2bulb nova extreme thinking about adding 2 11k daytime light and adding led strip for actinics for suppliment. Btw this is all in a 10 G TANK... sorry for bspelling I'm using a phone... so my question iis will my bioload support my cuc if I throw them all in.I searched and they say throw about 2 in a week but I'm buying my cuc from reefcleaaners and I have no where to put them...

Oh and will any of this cuc hurt my bta? I introduced my bta to my pepper and he started eating the tenicles after I had to feed him but my bta is doing fine. Will there be enough algea for my cuc with that much ammount of rocks and sand. I'm having alittle diatom outbreak atm cause of silicates...

    Bob,
Hopefully you have not drip acclimated the CUC from reefcleaners. You need to read john's directions on acclimation.
Adding that CUC will not add much to your bioload IMO - they are very small creatures with slow metabolisms and do not add much waste to the water, in fact they help clean it up - hence their membership in the "CUC".

Adding them all at once should not have much of an affect on your tank or your nem for that matter.

Nothing other than the peppermint shrimp will harm your BTA. You might need to exchange 2 of the turbos (depending on size) but other than that, you're fine. Go ahead and add them all. They do count in the bioload but nothing like a fish would.

I just floated the bags for 15 minutes to acclimate for temp then picked them out of the bag one by one and dropped them all in. No problem.
