ooohhhhh kkkk... well, about this saltwater setup :)

Do you have an auto-top-off system setup?

This could help with a lot of the burden and cut down on the fidgeting.

How is the system set up as Matt mentioned is it auto top off ? if so thats about all you may really have to worry about other then a slight feeding once or twice a week that way they water will stay a bit more stable .. She can P.M myself or anyone here I'm sure if you are not available at the time in case something really bad pops up.. for a fast help answer to about any problem.. After thirty plus yrs of running my former mechanical business I have talked more ladies through a emergency then I care to remember . None lost a house or building :) for lack of elect. or water or HVAC LOL

At this point I do not have a auto-top off , I was looking at the DIY section on the weekend and they look to be a good idea . will be going to my lfs to look for a sensor tonight (hardware store didnt have any just for toilets ), but am hard pressed for time as I fly out on friday.

ok so could not find auto top off switch so, we have had a big night of note taking and demonstrations , so I guess now it will be up to the reef-gods.

Just one more question in regards to the skimmer I have a redsea prizm which I dont trust to leave running well im away so I will be disconecting it , (it has been know to drop suction at times )
is this a good or bad idea

two months is probably going to be too long without a skimmer. Since it's too late to buy a better one before you leave you gotta just explain to her what to do with the skimmer too. I leave mine off for a few days sometimes but two months seems like asking for trouble.
