Here is a picture of my elegance coral a day after purchase. I think I set a speed record for elegance fatality. 3 days after purchase, this specimen was rotting and smelt of decaying flesh. The tank hosts several other corals, all thriving. Any ideas why it died so fast would be appreciated!

    Usually it is how they are shipped. If they have not taken the time to prepair them for shipping before they are bagged then you can count on a loss when it arrives. If done right it takes about 20 minutes to prep these species for shipping. I just got one in from Tangster and it is doing great. He really knows what he is doing with corals.
