Ok, ok, I know that many of you already know this, but for those who don't, heed my warning. I have never been able to keep zoos, I thought it was some weird parameter that was out of whack. Boy, was I wrong!!! I hooked up with Gazog today, who was kind enough to sell me some frags and he sold me an awesome little paly frag. Lo and behold, I just went to check on the tank and this little bastard peppermint shrimp was on the paly frag and was attacking it. He will die!!! Wish me luck. The moral of my sorry story; peppermint shrimp+ zoos/paly=frustration/angst/wasted money.

peppermint shrimp are terrible, they eat LPS and softies HARD. I had four, one died from eating too much frogspawn, another got banished, one died from being convienent, and the last disappeared, but he was the one that didnt eat my coral so i was sad. Dont get them lol

I have three peppermint shrimp in my 75. I had an aptasia problem a couple months back, they took care of it. They dont really pick at my corals except the cuttings that get away from me when im pruning my xenia. I just let them eat it.
