Zoo colonies recently dieing off

    There was no predation on any one the zoos that died. They were doing very well and than for some reason died off. salinity and all water parameters were n point...

    Did they just melt away? Where they newly fragged zoanthids?

    yeah you could say that.. no established nice colony.

    Sometimes newly fragged pieces will just melt. If it continues you may want to consider dipping the remaining colony.

    Don't mean to take this thread, but I've been have similar issues. My last two frags have melted away within maybe two-three weeks.

    What's the likelihood something could be feasting on them?

    Could be high if you did not dip them prior to putting them in your system.

    thanks all, and yes the Ph and all parameters along with salinity were fine. could you inform me on this dipping you're referring to?
