Idk, anyone else have any ideas?
I rinsed mine in rodi too between each solution. It didn't read 7 in the rodi though I forget what it read though. I didn't leave it in very long.
Thanks for getting back to me. Ive ordered Milwaukee pH calibration solution (7.01 and 10.01) a few days ago. I will definitely keep you guys updated.
Oh also so its been warm out and I opened a window where the tank is ph went up to 8.3. Amazing lol. I even have my intake on my Skimmer routed outside all year lol.
I was airing out (and freezing) after the boss's dinner cooking as well, the Apex showed even higher pH. I was like whatef.
Here's the update:
The new calibration solution came today.
After the calibration it shows this
After the calibration, I also tested the old solutions and it showed 6.65 when it shouldve been 7.0 and showed 9.45 when it shouldve been 10.0 on the Apex.
Bad calibration solutions!!
Thanks guys I was freaking out over nothing.
Im so glad you got it figured out and didn't try to drop you ph with other methods
Grats dude now enjoy your tank again ;D
Now that I think about it, none of the corals or inverts showed any distress/issue, so I shouldve gone by how they looked to begin with!
congrats on seeing this through to positive conclusion exactlyobp
peace of mind = you made a good investment there.
Thanks Steve! Im gonna go toss the old solution.
I really appreciate your help! K+
